A couple of days ago, Gucci announced that their new 1955 Horsebit bag is now exclusively available for purchase via their website.
The new 1955 Horsebit bag was first presented during Gucci’s Cruise 2020 fashion show back in May, and is actually a redesign of the original Horesbit design launched in the 1950s.
The Gucci 1955 Horsebit bag is currently only available in beige GG Supreme Canvas and features brown leather trim. The front of the bag highlights Gucci’s gold-toned equestrian-inspired symbol which is made up of a double ring and a bar. The bag also has a smaller horsebit gold-toned detail on each side.
The shoulder flap bag has an adjustable strap with gold studs on it which means is can be worn in multiple ways. The strap can be adjusted from a 25cm to a 45cm drop. The bag itself has only been released in a small size so far and measures 25 x 18 x 8 cm.
The interior is made from microfibre suede-like lining and is split into three compartments – one main compartment with a zippered pocket at the back and one slip pocket section at the front.
