Anthony Vaccarello introduced the Le 57 bag to Saint Laurent for Pre-Fall 2022. Inspired by the shape of the Le 5 à 7 that was brought in just over a year ago, the bag’s silhouette is relaxed and crafted from carré quilted calfskin leather (just like the new Saint Laurent Icare).
Of course, no Saint Laurent bag is complete without the iconic YSL hardware in gold. Unlike the Le 5 à 7, this bag is a lot more secure – boasting a flap and magnetic snap closure for a safer fastening. The back also features a small open pocket for easy access, and one open pocket on the inside. Its lining is in suede for a soft touch to your bag.
The 90s feel of the Le 57 has captured hearts all over, with celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Zoe Kravitz and Anja Rubik already spotted wearing this bag. Size
The Le 57 currently only comes in one size and measures 24 x 18 x 5.5 cm with a handle that is 21 cm high. It does not come with a longer, additional strap, so can only be worn in one way. That being said, it is the perfect bag to hang off your arm like a true fashionista.
Colours
The Le 57 currently comes in three colours – black, antique vintage (ivory) and lipstick fuchsia. That means you can choose between two classic shades, or something a little more statement. Each style features the gold bronze YSL hardware that we all know and love.
